1. Why use Shopify with IHUBApp?

2. What do you need before you start?
Before you get started you will need to have accounts setup with both Shopify and IHUBApp and you will need to have added a few products into your Shopify store. ( Don't worry, we provide detailed directions below on how to setup your Shopify store below. We're helpful like that! )
The IHUBApp offers a FREE forever plan and a FREE sub-domain. IHUBApp premium plans allow you to connect domains and starts at $49.99/USD a month. All hosting is included with your Hub on any plan that you choose.
3. Shopify IHUBApp Integration Overview: how it works in your Hub!
The IHUBApp and Shopify integration simplifies the process of selling products on your Hub. This integration allows you to seamlessly add a Shopify Buy Button to your IHUBApp site, enabling you to display and sell products efficiently.
Here's the process explained step by step:
- Create a Product: Begin by creating a product in Shopify. This involves providing essential details such as product images, descriptions, and pricing.
- Copy the Embed Code: Shopify provides an embed code, which is a snippet of special code that you need to copy.
- Paste the Code in a Page or Post: In the body of your page or post, look for the source code button. It looks like this:
Once you switch to "Code View": Paste the copied embed code. This will embed the shopify products or collections onto that page.
NOTE: When you switch back to the regular view you will not "see" the shop from within your Hub, but you will be able to see it out live on the Hub. - When visitors explore your Hub, they will encounter Shopify listing your products. When they decide to make a purchase, they will be seamlessly directed to Shopify's checkout process to complete the transaction.
4. Step-by-Step Instructions
Before you start, you will need to have both an IHUBApp and a Shopify account.
Good news! Every Shopify pricing plan comes with something called the Buy Button Channel app. This app is important for making Shopify work together with WordPress. So, even if you pick the cheapest plan, called Starter, which costs $5.00 per month, you'll still get this cool feature. Once you have your Hub setup and your Shopify store ready, here's how get them to work together. Setting up the Shopify Buy Button is a little tricky so we've put the steps together for you.
Step 1 - Add the Buy Button App to your Shopify Site.

- To start, login to your Shopify account.
- On the left hand side you will see something that says 'Sales Channels" select the '+' or the '>"
- In the search that comes up type 'Buy Button'
- You will be brought the App Store for Shopify. You need to install the Buy Button Channel by selecting 'Add app'
- Once you install, you will be redirected back to your Shopify page. Click the Add Sales Channel button at the top right.
- The Buy Button will now appear on your left nav. Be sure to select the pin to the right of it so you can easily access it in the future.
Step 2 - Add a product to Shopify
Now that you have the Buy Button added, you will need to add products to your store to be able to sell. Here's a great how-to video from Shopify that shows you how to add your products to their platform.
Step 3 - Create a collection of products in Shopify
Using collections will allow you an easy way to present multiple products at once through your pages and posts in IHUBApp. You can also embed single products, but we highly recommend that you create collections because it makes it easier for your customers to browse your products.
Step 4 - Embedding your Product Collection in IHUBApp
Products and Product Collections can be embedded into IHUBApp in several places, including:
For the purposes of this section, we are going to focus on embedding your Product Collection onto an IHUBApp Page. Before you get started, please Create a Page on your IHUBApp for where you will want to embed your Products to Sell
IN SHOPIFY
- In Shopify, you will want to click on the left nav item that says "Buy Button" and then select "Create a Buy Button"
- Select "Collection Buy Button"
- In the screen that pops-up, select the Product Collection you created earlier and then press the button "Select"
- A screen will appear that shows the Product Collection. Select the "Next" button in the top right corner.
- You will be brought to a screen with Code on it. Select "Copy Code" from this screen. (Don't worry - you're almost there!!)
- Open up IHUBApp and navigate to the page that you created.
- In the Body section of your page, Add the title and description of the Product Collection.
- Next, click on the icon to the far right that looks like this (<>) This will open up the Code View of your Page.
- Select "Ctrl+V" or Right click your mouse and select "Paste" into the Code View window. Then select the 'Update' button at the top of the page.
- The collection from Shopify will now be live on your site.
NOTE: If you don't see the Collection inside of the IHUBApp Page - DON'T WORRY - Press save and view on your Hub. It should be there! If it's not for some reason, please report the issue here.
5. Growing Your IHUBApp Audience and Shopify Store
