Add a Page

You can add content to your Hub as either a ‘Post’ or a ‘Page’. Posts and pages reside within ‘Channels' and are generally used for real-time updates and have the added benefit of notifying your audience through alerts and being included within newsletters.

Pages are also generally used for content that changes infrequently. Types of pages include Contact Pages, Company Information, or Privacy Statements.

You must have appropriate access to be able to create a page in your Hub.

Understanding the difference between a page and a post is important. Here’s a quick summary:

Used for content that changes infrequently.

Used for real-time updates.

Do not trigger notifications to users.

Trigger notifications to users when published.

Not included in Automated Newsletters.

Can be added to automated newsletters.

Must be added to a channel.

Must be added to a channel.

Must be manually linked and added to specific navigation elements.

Are automatically included as part of the Hub navigation including bread-crumbs.

Blank canvas that allows you to build any design you wish.

Templated option with functionality to customize.

How to Create a Page

NOTE: You must be signed into your Builder and have appropriate permission to be able to publish.

  1. Log into the Builder at build.ihub.app (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAD) or build.ihubapp.com.au (AUS)

  2. Navigate to 'Create' > 'Pages'

  3. Click on 'ADD NEW'

  4. Enter the name of your new Page
    PRO TIP : The title of your page will become the page URL and will not show up anywhere on the web page

  5. Select the channel you would like to post your page to.

  6. Create the content for your page in the 'Body' section

    1. Optional: Add a header image, video or embed

    2. Optional: Add a map or photo album

    3. Optional: Turn on comments

  7. Click 'Create' to save your page

  8. Publish your page to make it go live

  9. Once live click on the page title to view your page

  10. Copy the URL from the Builder by clicking the link icon for your page

How to Create a Page from the IHUBAPP

NOTE: You must be signed into your IHUBApp and have appropriate permission to create and publish pages
  1. Select the Top Nav Menu on your Hub
  2. Click on your Profile
  3. Navigate to Hub Administration
  4. Select "Pages"
  5. Repeat steps 3-10 above.
