Users: Manage User Profile Sections

User Profiles Section

When a user joins your HUB, they are assigned a Builder User Role. Many of your users will never need access to the Builder in order to manage the settings for the HUB. If a user does need access to manage the HUB, you will need to determine which Builder User Role they need. 

How to Create a New User Profile Section

1. Log into the Builder at build.inspirehub.com (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAD) or build.ihubapp.com.au(AUS)

2. Navigate to 'Channels & Users' > 'User profile sections'

3. Click on the Add symbol (blue circle with a + sign)  on the bottom right of the screen

4. Enter the name of your new User profile section
   PRO TIP : You can change the icon for your section by clicking on the icon next to the section name and choosing a new icon

5. Click 'Save' or hit the 'Enter' key on your keyboard

6. Your new section now appears in the User profile sections

How to Create a User Tags

1. Log into the Builder at build.inspirehub.com (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAD) or build.ihubapp.com.au(AUS)

2. Navigate to 'Channels & Users' > 'User profile sections'

3. Find the section you would like to add a new tag to

4. Click the 'ADD TAG' button underneath the section or click the plus tag icon in the section header

5. Type in the name of your tag

6. Hit the 'Enter' key on your keyboard to move on to the next tag. Add as many tags as needed

7. Click 'Save' to save your tags

8. Click 'Cancel' to exit the tags for that section
