Closing your Hub will make your profile and all content inaccessible. Depending on the subscription you have selected, we will archive your Hub for the time set out in our Terms and Conditions. Once that time is passed, you wil be offered the opportunity to pay an archive fee to keep your Hub accessible. If you decline, your entire hub and all data will be purged from our system and the process cannot be reversed once this is completed.
Other Options to Closing Your Hub
Before you completely deactivate your Hub, you may wish to consider doing the following:
- Update and change your username. If you deactivate your Hub, you will not be able to use your username or Hub name later.
- Remove your posts, pages, and associated content.
- Unsubscribe from all IHUBApp email notifications, by sending a note support@inspirehub.com that says "UNSUBSCRIBE"
Cancel Your Paid Subscription First
Before your Hub is archived, you will need to cancel your subscription. At the bottom of each invoice, there's a link that allows you to cancel your subscription. If you cannot find that link, you can email billing@inspirehub.com and your account will be cancelled in accordance with the IHUBApp Terms & Conditions and the package you have purchased.
Hub Names Cannot be Re-Used After Deactivation
To prevent impersonation, the name that you registered with will be unavailable for an undisclosed period of time. Hub Name protection is only guarantee for paying subscribers. Those who used the Free Forever services do not have any guarantees.
Hub Restoration
Depending on the package you have purchased it is possible to restore a deactivated Hub. If you deactivated your Hub in error, please contact us immediately. Restoration of deactivated Hubs is only guaranteed for paying subscribers. Those who used the Free Forever services do not have any guarantees.
How to Deactivate Your Hub
