The IHUBApp is a powerful platform that allows users to create and manage various pages within a Hub. However, sometimes users may encounter an issue where certain pages are not visible under the Hub Administration section. In most cases, this occurs when the user does not have the necessary permissions to view those pages. This guide will help you troubleshoot and resolve this problem by obtaining the required access.
Troubleshooting Steps:
1. Verify your permissions:
The first step is to check whether you have the appropriate permissions to view the missing pages. Typically, this issue arises when users lack the necessary privileges. To determine your access level, follow these steps:
a. Log in to the IHUBApp using your credentials.
b. Navigate to the Hub Administration section.
c. Check if you have been granted either the Home Channel Publishing or Administrator Access roles.
2. Understand the required access:
In order to see pages under Hub Administration, you need to be assigned either Publishing or Admin istrator Access wherever the "page" lives. These roles provide users with the necessary permissions to manage and view all pages within the hub. Most Pages are assigned under the 'Home Channel' so ensure you've been granted the appropriate access.
3. Contact the owner or administrator:
If you do not have the Publishing or Administrator Access, you will need to reach out to the owner or administrator of the hub to request the required access. If you don't know who that is, you can go to the Hub's contact page and send an inquiry. It will go to the Owner. They have the authority to grant you the necessary permissions.
4. Await access approval:
After contacting the owner or administrator, you will need to wait for their response. They may need some time to review your request and make the change.
5. Confirmation and access:
Once the owner or administrator has reviewed your request, they will notify you whether your access has been granted. If approved, you should now be able to view Pages under the Hub Administration section in the IHUBApp.
Please Note: Only the Owner of the Hub has the ability to grant you access. IHUBApp employees and staff cannot do this for you.
