IHUBApp Sliders: The Ultimate Guide to Leverage their Power

NOTE: You must be signed into your IHUBApp and have appropriate permission to be able to customize this message. 

What is a Slider?

Sliders are images that automatically slide across your Hub and allow you to promote and link to the content that is most important to you.  You can link to posts, channels, pages, and vanity URLS.

What are Sliders ideal for?

Sliders are ideal to any content that you wish to promote, but also perfect for:

• Affiliate marketers who are promoting products. You can launch your affiliate link directly from a slider.
• Bringing attention to Channels that you wish to drive more subscribers to.
• Ideal for special offers, promotions, and give-aways.

How do I create a Slider?

1. Select the Top Nav Menu on your Hub
2. Click on your Profile
3. Navigate to Hub Administration
4. Select 'Sliders' You will be brought to the "Sliders" section
   
5. Select 'Add Slider'. 
6. The 'Add Slider' Form will appear.
   
   The form will have the following elements:
   • Select channel: This will place the slider at the top of every channel you select.  Please note: 
   • Upload Image: Upload the image. We recommend 1600x900
   • Caption: (Optional) Add a caption to the slider.
   • Select link: You can link your sliders to sections within your Hub or launch to external sites.
   • 'Only show slider in channel feed': Enable this option if you DO NOT want the slider to appear on the homefeed automatically for members of the channel. 
   • Publish & Expiration Date: (Optional) Use this to more effectively manage your sliders. NOTE: If your publish date is set to the future your post will be 'Scheduled' to go live at the date and time you assigned it and will not be live in your IHUBApp until then.
7. Select Publish to make your Slider live.

8. Your slider is now live within your IHUBApp
