Thanks to Progressive Web App technology, the IHUBApp can be installed to interact with various operating systems. Please note: the automatic installation of PWAs is not controlled by InspireHUB, but by the tech providers (Microsoft, Google, Apple) who enables the detections through their browsers.
NOTE: PWA Technology changes everything. Unlike old app technology that required installation in order to access the app's contents, you no longer have to do this. Read this article here.

2. On iOS (note: the in-browser “Add to homescreen” option is only available on Safari) :

Open your Hub in Safari

On first load, there will be an “Add to homescreen” popup that if selected, will instructions on how to add the app to your homescreen in Safari (the popup window can be scrolled to view additional instructions). If this was closed initially, the popup will take 30 days since it was closed to reappear.

If this was closed initially, tap on the share menu icon, then scroll down to “Add to homescreen” and select it.

The Hub has now been added to your homescreen.
3. On Android (note: Add to homescreen is available on all browsers on Android):

Open your hub (in whichever mobile browser you prefer to use)

On first load, there will be an “Add [appName] to Home screen” popup that if selected, will bring up another popup with the option to “Install” the Hub.
If this was closed initially, tap on the vertical dot menu icon, then scroll down to “Add to homescreen” and select it. Depending on the browser you are using on Android, the exact location of "Add to Homescreen" may vary. -
The Hub has now been added to your homescreen.
