Creating a Post from the HUB
This video gives an overview of how to create a post within your HUB by using the Post from HUB feature.
There are two ways to create a post:
1. Select the Compose Button on the screen of your hub. (If you have access you will be immediately brought to Add a Post form.
2. Access the Post feeds section
Navigate to the Compose Button
Having the ability to post new content directly from the HUB makes it even easier to share content:
- Click on the Compose button on the bottom-right of the screen (colours will vary based on the IHUBApp)
Navigate to the Post Feeds Section
NOTE: You must be signed into your IHUBApp and have appropriate permission to access Posts.
- Select the Top Nav Menu on your Hub
- Click on your Profile Navigate to "Hub Administration"
- Select "Posts"
- Select "Add Post"
Using the Add a Post Form
Once you have successfuly clicked on either the "Compose Button" or the "Add Post" button a window will be brought up with a form to fill out. It looks like this:
Here are the sections available for your use:

- This will determine where the post shows up.
- You must have appropriate access in order to PUBLISH or SUBMIT content (including the Home Channel).

- Allows you to determine the type of content that appears at the top of the post. This can be videos, images, or even embed other content from platforms such as Canva, LinkedIn, Instagram, X and more.

Title & Body
- Title: This is the title that will appear on your post and be used with your SEO
- Body: This is the content for your post. Your blog, news, thoughts, etc.

Note: If you do not have Publishing rights, you will only have the Title and Body to fill in (the Advanced Editor will provide all of the editing tools you would have in the builder)

- Modules provide additional adanced engagement tools that includes selling tickets, adding maps, requesting volunteers, and more. The available modules are based on your premium package.
If you have Publishing rights, you can hit ‘Publish’ and your new Post will be live within the IHUBApp.
If you do not have Publishing rights, you will be able to select ‘Submit’ to send off your post for review.
TIP: If your publish date is set to the future your post will be 'Scheduled' to go live at the date and time you assigned and will not be live in your IHUBApp until then.
