Pages: Overview

Pages can be created from the IHUBApp or the Builder.

Pages vs. Posts

The difference between a Page and a Post is:

• Posts live within a channel and when they are posted they are automatically added into newsletters and notifications. Posts are perfect for dynamic content and flow.
• Pages when published are not included in notifications and newsletters. They are perfect for static content that changes infrequently,

How to Create a Page

NOTE: You must have appropriate access to create pages. 

1. Login to your Hub

2. Click on your profile name.
3. Select Hub administration > Pages
   

4. Select "Add Page" 
   

5. Enter the name of your new Page
6. Select the channel you would like to post your page to. (Your page will take on the permission of that channel_

7. Create the content for your page in the 'Body' section

   1. Optional: Add a header image, video or embed

   2. Optional: Add a map or photo album

   3. Optional: Turn on comments

8. Protip: Select Page Options
   1. Select a Post URL Slug: this will be the name on your URL
   2. Keywords: Select keyword for the topic your page is about to help with SEO
   3. Meta Description: This is used by SEO to summarize the content of your page.
      
      
      
9. Advanced: Modules
   Depending on your plan you may have access to certain modules such as Call-to-Action and Surveys to help drive further engagement. Add this here.
   
10. Select "PUBLISH"
11. Once live click on the page title to view your page

12. Copy the URL from the Builder by clicking the link icon for your page by selecting the ellipsis menu:
