How to Connect a Custom Domain to Your HUB

We may also need to contact your directly for further additional information, or if you have the experience and would like to connect your custom domain yourself, we will be in contact with you to give you the necessary DNS record changes to setup your domain.
3. Concierge Service: Once you submit the form, our concierge team will reach out to you to handle all the technical aspects. We ensure a smooth and hassle-free setup.

The process typically takes about 3-5 business days after we've received all the necessary information from your. Our team works diligently to ensure your domain is connected as quickly as possible.

Setting Up a Custom Domain Yourself

If you’d prefer to connect a custom domain on your own, follow these simple steps to get started:

1. Navigate to the Custom Domains Section: Log in to your HUB account, and navigate to the  Custom Domains section. It's found under the Configure menu in the builder, or hub administration when logged into the hub. This is where you'll initiate the process of connecting your domain.

2. Set Up DNS Records:

   • In your domain registrar's DNS settings, create the following records:
     • CNAME Record: Point the www subdomain to the provided address in your HUB settings.
     • TXT Record: Use the details provided to verify your domain ownership. This step is essential to ensure the connection is secure and authentic.
     • Make sure to set the TTL/Time to Live on both records to be 600 seconds.
     • Once the DNS records have been set, select Verify to complete the setup. (This can take up to 48 hours for the changes to propagate, especially with a longer TTL than 600 seconds.

3. Configure a 301 Permanent Redirect:
   To ensure your domain functions seamlessly and directs traffic properly, set up a 301 permanent redirect. This redirect should point traffic from the bare domain (e.g., example.com) to the www version (e.g., www.example.com). This helps avoid duplicate content issues and ensures all visitors are routed to the correct version of your HUB.
