Why is Firefox not working on IHUBApp Desktop?

One of the core pieces of IHUBApp is our PWA enablement. As of 2021, Firefox announced their decision to discontinue supporting Progressive Web Apps (PWAs) on desktop. In 2023, Apple announced they are fully enabling PWA with iOS 17 and all other browsers fully support PWA.

What is IHUBApp doing about this?

We continue to support Firefox Mobile browser and monitor the status. With Apple's recent announcement and push to PWA, we wouldn't be surprise if there's a future change of heart. In the meantime, we encourage you to use other browsers on your desktop experience.
