How to suspend (remove or delete) a channel

Suspending a Channel

Sometimes you'll need to remove or suspend a Channel from your HUB because it's no longer relevant, or you've decided not to use it anymore. This video will teach you how to suspend a Channel.  Channels can only be suspended from the Builder.

How to Suspend / Remove a Channel

1. Log into the Builder at build.inspirehub.com (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAN) or build.inspirehub.com.au (AUS)

2. Navigate to 'Channels & Users' > 'Channels' > 'Select' the channel you would like to suspend

3. Navigate to 'Settings'

4. Select the three vertical dot menu in the upper right hand corner and then select 'Suspend' 

5. A pop up box will appear asking you to confirm or cancel. Confirm if you would like to suspend, and cancel if you would like to keep channel as is.

How to Reactivate / Restore Channel

1. Log into the Builder at build.inspirehub.com (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAN) or build.inspirehub.com.au (AUS)

2. Navigate to 'Channels & Users' > 'Channels' > 'Suspended'

3. In the 'Suspended' tab you will see all of the channels that are suspended. Select the channel you would like to restore. 

4. Select the three vertical dot menu in the upper right hand corner and then select 'Restore'

5. A pop up box will appear asking you to confirm or cancel. Confirm if you would like to activate, and cancel if you would like to keep channel as is.
