Updating or Changing Your Channel Settings

Sometimes you'll need to change the name of a Channel, Channel URL, description, or Channel image after it's been created. Not to worry!  That's where the Channel Settings come in.

How to Update Channel Settings

1. Log into the Builder at build.ihub.app (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAD) or build.ihubapp.com.au(AUS)

2. Select Channels & Members > Channels

3. Select triple dot menu on the channel you would like to update the Settings for

4. Select 'Configure'

   

5. Edit/change the fields you would like to update (Channel name, URL, Channel Type, Category, Description, and Welcome Message).
   

6. Select 'Save'

How to Assign a New Category for a Channel

Once you’ve created your Category, it’s time to add the related Channels to it:

1. Log into the Builder at build.ihub.app (USA), build.ihubapp.ca (CAD) or build.inspirehub.com.au(AUS)

2. Navigate to 'Channels & members' > 'Channels'

3. Click on the 3 dots  to the right of the Channel you wish to move

4. Click on ‘Move'

5. Select the Category you wish to add your Channel to
   NOTE: You are also able to create a New Category from this menu. Simply type in the name of the Category and click the Save button.
