How to Moderate Content Submitted by Users

Moderating User Submitted Content

If you allow users to upload content to your HUB,  you may want the ability to moderate the content before it appears within a Channel. The Moderate tab within the Builder lets you moderate user-generated content, ensuring that everything that goes onto your HUB is approved before it is uploaded for other members to read and engage with. 

Sometimes you want to make sure that a post is stylistically accurate, that the grammar is correct or simply want to ensure it is appropriate before publishing it. So if a user has submitted content for review, here is where you can moderate it:

1. In the left side menu, navigate to 'Moderate' > 'Submitted content' or on the Dashboard select 'Moderate'>'Submitted Content'
   

2. Click on the Post you wish to review.

3. Make any adjustments you wish to make

   • Add a Post Type (optional)

   • Select the Channel to Publish to (optional)

   • Add a Publish/Expire date (optional)

   • Turn comments on or off (optional)

4. Click 'Save'

5. Change the drop down menu for the post from Unpublished to Published
