Two Channel Options

For those of us who use channels for pre-recorded webinar series and timeline blogs (that we want in ascending order), I would LOVE the following two options in the Channel Settings: 

1. A toggle to suppress the channel posts from showing in the newsfeed ~ when you have a large pre-recorded webinar series (like the Hub Mama Program), the newsfeed gets overwhelmed by the webinar posts. Yes, the Post Labels help, but there is just not a need for the webinar posts to be on the newsfeed so the option to declutter it would be fabulous. 
2. An option to sort the posts in DESCENDING (default) or ASCENDING order. In the case of a webinar series or a timeline-style blog, I want older posts to show up first. Right now the only way to make this happen is totally awkward and definitely not ideal ~ and that is to set the date of the newer posts before the older ones. Having an ASCENDING option would be a dream!

  Hey Janet, just a question regarding #1. Is there a reason why you wouldn't just use Pages instead? It still gives you like, comments, and the ability to add modules?
